May we introduce ourselves. The Puppytime Training Team are a group of dog trainers based in Cheltenham, in the UK, we organise classes to teach people how to train their dogs to behave in a socially acceptable way. Being affiliated to the Kennel Club we also provide a platform in our late classes for dog owners to take the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards up to Gold Level. The methods we use to train dogs and puppies nowadays are far removed from the outdated way of " Phideaux will do it because I told him! " approach which is now totally unacceptable. Forget the technical jargon, we like to call our method of teaching the love and kindness approach combined with bribery and corruption. We think everyone will understand this. So we train gently with a smile and we use treats for the bribery and corruption. We encourage prospective clients to come along to our sessions to freely observe our methods. Our class intake is on a strictly first come first serve basis, we require full payment at registration to guarantee your place, class numbers are restricted and we advise that to avoid disappointment early registration is essential, perhaps even before you bring your pup home.
